1980s Jean Lempereur
Jean Lempereur is a French brand that is little known to the general public today, but which actively participated in the golden age of independent French eyewear in the 1970s and 1980s. These houses, often artisanal, competed in inventiveness in shapes and the use of cellulose acetate, the king material of the time. France, and more specifically the Jura region, was then a world center for the manufacture of optical frames.
