Our actions
At Vision Janine, every frame counts: discover how we bring your glasses back to life while limiting our impact on the environment.

We work to reduce our impact at every step of the process.
We work closely with associations and professionals in the sector to ensure optimal management of our components.
As we grow and our environment evolves, we are committed to continually refining this approach.
1. Bulk reception
We receive stocks of glasses from the So Med! association, with which we collaborate.
2. Sorting and repurchase
The frames arrive at the workshop, we sort them for So Med! and buy back the pairs that interest us. The funds from the sales allow So Med! to finance its activities.
This allows us to facilitate the accomplishment of So Med! 's missions and to unearth rare mounts, otherwise "lost" because they do not meet the association's selection criteria.
3. Return of surplus
Once sorted, the frames suitable for humanitarian missions are returned to So Med! to be distributed in France and internationally to those who do not have access to ophthalmic care.
4. Monitoring and sourcing
The rest of our frames come from in-depth research and careful selection, in order to offer you a range of frames that carry meaning!
5. Restoration
All our frames undergo restoration: they are examined, restored if necessary, and most receive new lenses. Our lenses are UV400 certified and of the same quality as optician lenses.
6. Recycling
We set aside all used components and frames that are too damaged to be sent to the RecyclOptics association, which takes care of recycling them in order to give them a second life.

Our partners

So Med! is a general interest association, active in France and internationally since 2021 to improve access to visual care for the most vulnerable populations .
It organizes eye screening campaigns, sets up eyeglass manufacturing workshops and trains local teams to ensure the sustainability of the systems.
Your donation helps deliver lenses, frames and measuring equipment, fund field missions (such as recently in Ghana) and train opticians and volunteers on site.
Each donation restores sight to thousands of people and sustainably strengthens local medical infrastructure.

RecyclOptics is a non-profit organization founded in 2021 by Carole Riehl. It is France's leading optical and eyewear recycling company.
It organizes the collection and recycling of used, broken glasses and presentation lenses from individuals and professionals.
Your donation helps to recover thousands of pairs of glasses each year, to finance the creation of recycled objects (shelves, materials for manufacturers, etc.) and to support the Sustainable Optics Congress (COLD), which brings together stakeholders committed to ecology in the eyewear industry.
By donating your glasses, you are participating in both the preservation of the planet and the social recovery of optical waste, a concept that is still little used.
