Bugatti BB02 – A vision of prestige
A nod to luxury engineering.
The Bugatti brand, well known for its exceptional automobiles, also invested in the field of accessories in the 1980s and 1990s with a range of glasses that reflect the same values as its vehicles: performance, precision, and excellence in detail.
Signature design from the 80s.
This Bugatti BB02 model perfectly illustrates the "racing chic" style of the era. The front of the frame, in ivory pearl-effect acetate, is highlighted by a marked upper bar and a rounded bridge, evoking the design of vintage racing helmets.
A statutory object.
In the late 1980s, wearing Bugatti sunglasses was like sitting in an EB110: a symbol of success, but with a very European taste for technical refinement. These glasses were often distributed through high-end channels—independent opticians, private clubs—and rarely mass-produced. They appealed to a clientele of enthusiasts, engineers, pilots, and lovers of rare products.
