1990s Rayban
This pair of Ray-Ban Clubmasters features a rare and unusual version: a brushed silver metal frame, made in France, probably in the 1990s, a period when Ray-Ban (then owned by Bausch & Lomb) still used several European subcontractors, notably French.
This model retains the classic architecture of the Clubmaster: a semi-rimless structure inspired by the "browline" frames of the 1950s. Very fashionable in post-war American university circles, this silhouette became cult from the 80s thanks to media and cinematographic figures.
