Collection: Paco Rabanne
Paco Rabanne is a French fashion house with a visionary style, renowned for its sculptural shapes and experimental materials. The Vision Janine collection brings together vintage eyewear from the 1970s to the 1990s: oversized frames, metallic finishes, futuristic designs—rare pieces that extend the designer's avant-garde legacy.
The brand's DNA
The brand's DNA
The Paco Rabanne universe is marked by an experimental, sometimes radical aesthetic, at the crossroads of fashion, art, and technology. The shapes are bold, the volumes sculpted, and the materials often innovative or repurposed. This avant-garde visual research is reflected in the eyewear: angular lines, thick frames, metallic effects, technical inserts, and references to architecture or the world of space. Eyewear that goes beyond function to become a design object.
His story
His story
Founded in 1966 by Francisco “Paco” Rabaneda Cuervo, Paco Rabanne first established itself in haute couture with metal and plastic dresses, before diversifying into accessories. The company began its journey into eyewear in the 1970s, with collections produced under license, notably by Logo Paris, then by Optisun and other European manufacturers. True to the brand's DNA, Paco Rabanne's eyewear features experimental, often oversized lines, with technical materials or chrome effects that evoke the world of science fiction—a recurring theme in his work.

Did you know?
Did you know?
Paco Rabanne was one of the first designers to collaborate with industrial engineers to design his accessories—including eyewear. Some 1980s frames were co-developed with designers from aeronautics and automotive design, resulting in eyewear whose lines are as reminiscent of a spaceship cockpit as they are of a fashion accessory.
